Dr. Gornitsky Hosts Webinar on Strategic CSR for Public Affairs Council

In March, Dr. Gornitsky spoke to Public Affairs Council members on "Where Does Philanthropy Fit in a Strategic CSR Program" via webinar. In her presentation, she discussed what it means to be strategic as well as best practices in corporate citizenship. Dr. Gornitsky covered best practices in strategy, giving, employee engagement and evaluation.

Dr. Gornitsky Presents Pro Bono Research in Webinar for Charities@Work

On April 12, Dr. Gornitsky spoke about LBG Associates' latest research on pro bono volunteerism in a webinar hosted by Charities@Work. She spoke about the imbalance between the demand for pro bono project by companies and the supply of opportunities coming from the nonprofits. The research focused on the challenges the nonprofits face when taking on pro bono volunteers and the solutions they suggest to help them make better use of this valuable resource. Dr. Gornitsky Interviewed for American Banker Article

Dr. Linda B. Gornitsky was quoted many times in a story in American Banker magazine, commenting on the benefits of volunteerism to community banks. "Volunteering enables a company to make a difference in a community, while also providing employee engagement opportunities," Dr. Gornitsky was quoted in a story about SunWest Bank in Irvine, CA, and its international fellowship program, something that is unusual for a community bank. New Research: Balancing Pro Bono Supply and Demand
